- WELCOME TO THE FLYBY DEMO
-
-
- This applications shows texture mapping, or the
- draping of an image on a digital elevation model.
-
- The Flyby Demo explores a section of the Rocky
- Mountains over Leadville, CO. The data was
- collected by NASA in 1995 using the Airborne
- Visible/Infrared Imaging Spectrometer (AVIRIS).
- Three bands were used to create an RGB false
- color-infrared image. The image was subsequently
- georeferenced, subset, and overlaid onto a USGS
- digital elevation model of the same area.
